ReMote LA, or Light Action, is another option in our class-leading ReMote dropper remote lineup. It solves common remote complaints with the compact, ergonomic, and robust ReMote LA. The patent-pending ReMote LA has a longer lever arm than the standard ReMote and is optimal for posts with a harder pull, or for riders who simply prefer an ultra-light actuation feel. It reduces actuation force by nearly one-third compared to the standard ReMote.

Starting from a long list of requests from riders and mechanics, the Wolf Tooth team set out to address each one. Based on rider feedback and tuned to work with the stiffer internal springs of some posts, the ReMote LA is also the go-to choice for those with thumb injuries or reduced hand strength. From its hassle-free installation to the smooth ball-bearing action to a machined failure point, the lightweight ReMote leads in every category.

UpFront cable fixing: The cable is fixed at the lever, making setup and adjustment quick and easy. Simply secure the cable at the seatpost using a barrel or pinch bolt and route it to the bar to dramatically reduce installation time and frustration.

Large-diameter ball bearing pivot: An industry first, the ReMote LA uses a massive 21 mm sealed cartridge bearing for smooth operation and unmatched modulation.

Cable-friendly clamp: A precisely machined cable path and a custom clamp screw with captive washer won’t damage cables like more common pinch bolts. As a bonus, cables can be cut to length and crimped before clamping.

The ReMote LA lever sits close to the bar, minimizing how far your thumb has to move off the grip while also reducing the chance of knee contact in technical terrain, and adds a bit of extra length to overcome stiff internals.

Integrated cable adjuster: The securely mounted barrel adjuster on the ReMote LA allows quick and easy on-the-fly adjustments while eliminating rattles caused by common in-line cable adjusters.

Breakaway axle pivot: Crashes are bad, but expensive crashes are worse. That’s why the ReMote features a designed failure point that allows the lever to break away from its base in the event of a crash. Replacement axles are inexpensive and readily available here.

High-traction lever: A machined surface ensures you don’t lose control, even in the worst conditions.

Wide compatibility: The ReMote LA has been tested and is recommended for use with Thomson, Fox Transfer, Race Face, Easton, and 9point8 cable-actuated posts.
