Please note that Lessard Bicycles currently offers “Buy Now, Pay Later” options at checkout via Affirm, Fiancée, and Iceberg for the second and third credit: you can spread the payment for your bike into multiple easy installments instead of paying the full amount upfront.
When financing is available, you select it at checkout. You’ll be prompted to enter a few personal details, and the financing partner (like Affirm or PayBright) will give an instant loan decision. If approved, you confirm your payment terms and take your bike home while paying the plan over time.
Purchases under $1,000 are typically eligible for 4 interest-free payments, while purchases over $1,000 are subject to normal interest rates, which vary depending on your credit score. Any promotions or special financing offers will be clearly displayed at checkout.
No — approval is subject to review by the financing partner. They check information like your identity, credit history, and purchase amount to determine eligibility. Not all applicants will qualify for every plan.
For many plans, including soft eligibility checks, it won’t impact your credit score. However, certain long‑term or larger loan options may involve credit reporting that could show on your credit file. You’ll be told before you agree in french
Repayment terms vary based on the financing product and purchase size. Some plans are paid in 4 bi‑weekly installments, while others span several months with monthly payments. The available lengths and APR (if any) are presented at checkout
Yes — you can pay off your balance in full or in part at any time without any penalty.
If you return an item purchased through Affirm:
- Lessard Bicycles will process the return according to its standard return policy.
- Affirm will automatically adjust your payment plan accordingly (if a refund is issued, Affirm will reduce or cancel your loan).
- Affirm does not charge late fees.
- However, if a payment is not made and is more than 30 days late, the information may be reported to credit bureaus, which can affect your credit record.
- It is recommended to contact Affirm if you anticipate a delay.
Yes!
You can use Affirm even if you don’t have a credit card.
Here’s how it works:
- Affirm is a financing service that allows you to pay for your purchases in installments.
- You don’t need a traditional credit card because Affirm creates a payment plan directly linked to your bank account.
- You will need to provide some personal and banking information for your application to be approved.
- Your credit history may be checked to determine the loan amount and terms.

No:
- The warranty generally does not cover normal wear, damage caused by an accident, misuse, improper maintenance, or unauthorized modifications.
- Labor or installation costs are not normally covered, unless otherwise specified by the manufacturer or retailer.
Tip: Always keep your proof of purchase to make the warranty claim process easier!
Depending on the nature of the issue and the instructions you receive after evaluation:
- You may be asked to bring the product to the store for inspection or repair.
- For some items, a repair or replacement may be coordinated through Lessard Bicycles.
Manufacturer warranties may sometimes be honored by an authorized dealer even if you did not purchase the bike from us. However, Lessard Bicycles is not obligated to process products purchased from other retailers. Please contact us to check your specific case.
- Warranty may vary depending on the brand and the parts: some manufacturers offer specific coverage that should always be checked (e.g., lifetime warranties, extended warranties).
- Clear photos or videos of the defects can speed up the warranty claim process.
- If in doubt, contact our team with your order number or invoice.
- We reserve the right to refuse a warranty claim if necessary; the final decision is always ours.
