The PVC peg features a strong yet lightweight 4130 alloy steel core inserted into a fast-grinding, injection-molded plastic polymer sleeve. Included with each peg is a hardened steel 14mm/10mm reduction sleeve for use with 3/8" / 10mm axles. Unlike smaller-diameter pegs that only accept some 17mm sockets, this peg accepts both 17mm and 19mm sockets for installation/removal.
