The Merit™ Spherical is a high-performance trail helmet built around the ball-and-socket design of Spherical™ Technology to provide incredible ventilation, deep coverage, and luxurious comfort. Helmets with Spherical Technology offer more complete performance and protection thanks to the Mips® brain protection system, where the outer liner rotates around the inner liner like a ball in a socket to redirect rotational impact energy. Progressive layering also helps absorb both high- and low-speed impacts. Massive vents are combined with internal channels in the EPS foam liner to create incredible airflow through the helmet to dump heat, even on long climbs in hot weather. Adjustments are quick and easy with the Roc Loc® Trail Air fit system, and the plush Ionic+™ padding provides exceptional sweat absorption while fighting odors with its permanent antimicrobial properties. With all these features, it’s an ideal choice for hard pedaling and fast, flowing trail riding.
