The lightest women’s road shoe in Giro’s lineup, the Factress™ Techlace™, features a revolutionary closure system that combines the benefits of laces with the easy adjustability of a dial. By replacing D-rings and other anchoring hardware with laces—which are easily replaced if damaged—the Techlace system provides unprecedented forefoot suppleness. The Boa IP-1 dial offers intuitive micro-adjustment; each “click” equals one millimeter of tightening or loosening. The Factress Techlace has all the high-end features you expect from a Giro shoe: a durable, highly breathable Evofiber SL upper; inside, a SuperNatural Fit footbed with X-Static fibers for antimicrobial properties and adjustable arch support for a custom fit and maximum pedaling efficiency; and an Easton EC90 SLX2 carbon sole, one of the lightest, thinnest, and stiffest road soles available, ensuring optimized power transfer and a direct connection to the pedal.
