The Factor Techlace™ is a pure racing shoe that combines the benefits of our Techlace system, the easy adjustability of a Boa dial, and the high-level performance you expect from a Giro shoe—all at a featherweight 210 grams (size 42.5). By replacing D-rings and other hardware with laces—which are easily replaced if damaged—the Techlace system provides remarkable suppleness across the forefoot. The Boa IP-1 dial offers intuitive micro-adjustment; each “click” equals one millimeter of tightening or loosening. The Evofiber SL upper is durable and highly breathable. Inside, the SuperNatural Fit footbed features X-Static fibers with antimicrobial properties, and the adjustable arch support provides a custom fit and maximum pedaling efficiency. Finally, the Easton EC90 SLX2 carbon outsole—one of the lightest, thinnest, and stiffest road soles available—ensures optimal power transfer and a direct connection to the pedal.
