While knit uppers are well established in athletic footwear design, bringing them to cycling shoes is a first! Giro innovates once again with the women’s Empire E70 Knit, featuring our new breathable Xnetic™ knit upper for unprecedented comfort. Developed to meet the demands of high-performance riding, the Xnetic material has an internal TPU skeletal structure to provide support in strategic areas and an ultra-supple knit that feels as comfortable as a sock. Treated with a DWR water-repellent finish, the water-resistant upper is easy to clean and features TPU reinforcements at the heel and toe to prevent wear. Another universally praised asset: the look!
