The Empire™ SLX II brings an even sleeker form to the Giro icon, with an all-new flat-knit Synchwire upper that combines the lowest weight with the highest levels of comfort and breathability. The unique knit mesh construction builds ventilation into the upper and durability is enhanced with a thermobonded TPU film. Seven traditionally placed lace eyelets offer unmatched comfort and conformity, while power is delivered by an all-new forged carbon fiber outsole plate that boosts stiffness to 20 Nm, all at a featherweight 195 g. The Empire SLX II is simply the best iteration yet of the shoe that redefined lace-up performance.
