Great helmet for mini downhillers
· MIPS — Multi-directional Impact Protection System, which offers increased protection for certain types of impacts. A MIPS helmet is made up of: 1. An inner foam shell, 2. A low-friction liner, and 3. An elastomeric attachment system. During an angled impact, the attachment system stretches to allow the inner shell to rotate independently around the head.
· Hard-shell construction keeps the helmet’s price down. An outer shell is molded and fixed around the EPS liner.
· The In Form system lets you dial in the fit in seconds—even with gloves on. The ergonomic dial at the base of the helmet offers up to 6 cm of adjustment for increased stability.
· Vertical tuning – Allows for a better fit for all head and goggle shapes, helping to eliminate the gap between goggle and helmet
· Our Stack Vent ventilation system was developed from studies showing that the warm air that causes fogging comes mainly from the goggle’s central vent. By aligning the helmet’s vent with the center vent of the goggle, fogging is eliminated.
· Super Cool vents
· Removable goggle retainer
· Compatible with Giro audio accessories by Outdoor Tech.
· Full compatibility with all Giro goggles – For optimal performance, Giro goggles and helmets are designed to work together, ensuring a gap-free interface between helmet and goggle for exceptional fit and rock-solid reliability.
· Certification: CE EN1077
