BIONOL AS BRAKE FLUID

The brake fluid used in Trickstuff brakes is Bionol, produced from vegetable oils and featuring eco-friendly characteristics.

Its low viscosity allows it to flow easily through the braking system and thus ensures a consistent bite point. Bionol also has a high viscosity index, which makes it less prone to performance changes at low temperatures.

A high boiling point for brake fluid is crucial to maintain consistent braking performance even under heavy use. If the boiling point is reached, vapor bubbles can form and compress the brake fluid, reducing braking force. In the case of Bionol, its boiling point is between 360°C and 420°C at normal atmospheric pressure, placing it well above the mineral oils and DOT fluids commonly used.
