8-Bit Kit One

The 8-Bit System is a group of multi-tools designed to work together to solve most trailside problems so you can ride back to the trailhead or to the next town. They are lightweight, strong, versatile, and small enough to fit in a jersey pocket or tool pack. The three nest together perfectly using magnets and smart machining for compact storage. 8-Bit Kit One has 23 functions across the three multi-tools.

8-BIT PACK PLIERS MULTI-TOOL has 17 functions. At one end of the multi-tool, an 8 mm pivoting hex head serves as a driver for the bits stored inside: flathead #3.5 and Phillips #2 bits; 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, and 6 mm hex bits; and Torx-compatible T10 and T25 bits. A spoke wrench and a valve core wrench are stored at the back, and a reamer is inside the upper handle to clear sealant from valve stems. At the other end of the multi-tool are pliers for installing/removing and tightening/loosening valve stem nuts.

8-BIT TIRE LEVER + RIM DENT REMOVER MULTI-TOOL has two functions. A thin, ergonomic plastic tire lever sits at one end opposite a machined aluminum rim dent remover. The tire lever works with all tubed and tubeless tires, while the rim dent remover is compatible with all metal rims.

8-BIT CHAINBREAKER + UTILITY KNIFE MULTI-TOOL has four functions. It has a chain breaker at one end and a retractable utility blade at the other. The chain tool is operated by an included 3 mm L-hex key that also serves as a tire plug insertion tool. A machined slot fits the L-key and converts the entire multi-tool into a plug insertion tool, with the forked end of the L-key facing outward. The handles of this multi-tool slide open to allow storage of tire plug inserts, a valve core, and a spare mini utility blade. The fourth function is the 16 mm chain breaker head, which can be used to tighten a loose crank while riding.

Each multi-tool can be paired with any other multi-tool or with both. They are sold separately and as this three-piece set. All existing 8-Bit Pack Pliers are compatible with the two new 8-Bit System multi-tools.
