The Keo 2 Max pedals are made for experienced road cyclists who want a pedal that delivers excellent performance. At just 131 g per pedal, the Keo 2 Max is one of the lightest in its category, thanks to the use of composite materials for the pedal platform. The Keo 2 Max thus manages to be very light without sacrificing durability. Its large 500 mm² contact surface gives the rider a bigger contact point, providing better power transfer. The stainless steel surface ensures solid contact between cleat and pedal and helps guarantee efficient power transfer. The oversized axle is highly resistant and has been tested in a rotation test of one million cycles at 100 rpm with a 198 lb load at the center of the pedal and an off-center rotation, creating an impact at each turn. The durability and strength of the design have therefore been proven—these pedals will last for thousands of kilometers. The adjustable spring tension also lets the pedal be tuned to the rider’s needs and preferences. The Keo 2 Max is aimed both at recreational riders and racers looking for a reliable, strong, and lightweight product.
