- The NSB 1x Variable Tooth Chainrings use alternating thin-thick tooth profiles with a standard chainring tooth shape to help keep the chain in place no matter how you ride. By increasing the thickness of half the teeth, the chain has less room to move, virtually eliminating chain drop when using a single chainring. Using one of the most common 104mm BCD mounting patterns (64mm BCD for the 28T model), the ring can be mounted on almost any crankset.
