The very first bike rack in the cycling industry to be compatible with disc brakes. We designed this rack to solve compatibility issues when disc brakes first appeared on the market. The Journey® Disc remains a favorite to this day thanks to its many elegant mounting options and its class-leading load capacity.

Construction:

Hand-welded 10.2 mm 6061-T6 tubular aluminum.

Mounting system:

Adjustable extra-long Versalock® arms (280 mm) for frames with eyelets.
Traditional baguette on the right (drivetrain side).
Adjustable Versalock® strut on the left (disc side).

Features:

Three-legged design with a setback structure that prevents panniers from sliding into your wheel while you ride.
Fits frames whose disc brake position causes compatibility issues with traditional racks.
Generously sized platform optimized for top-loading bags such as a trunk bag or rear basket.
Designed for modern bikes; the load is positioned further back over the rear wheel, right where it should be.
Increased heel clearance.
Increased clearance between trunk and saddle improves trunk usability, especially when mounted on small frames.
Versalock® 280 mm arms are long enough to fit even the smallest bikes.
Versalock® stays can be bent up to 30 degrees without compromising strength.
