It can be used to check cogs from 12 to 21 teeth. Procedure: place the tool’s chain on the cogs and rest the rounded end of the tool on the top of the cassette between two teeth. Pull the last chain link away from the sprocket and apply a force of 100 N or 10 kg to the tool in the direction of rotation of the cog. If the last link of the tool easily slips off the sprocket, then the sprocket is still in good condition. If the last link stays stuck to the tested sprocket or you have to force it off, it means it is worn and must be replaced. If the tool jumps completely off the cassette when pressure is applied, it means the cassette cogs are badly damaged.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Unior Tools","offers":[{"title":"Black","offer_id":42899883819111,"sku":"U-629230","price":29.95,"currency_code":"CAD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/1331\/2879\/files\/1658_2p_629230_image_1024.jpg?v=1776987524","url":"https:\/\/lessardbicycles.com\/en\/products\/sprocket-wear-indicator-32410-sprocket-wear-indicator","provider":"Lessard Bicycles","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
